This little itch

It is really cold here in Indiana. I don't mean just usual winter cold, but REALLY, REALLY cold. I ought to be able to wear jeans at least 1 size smaller by the middle of next week because it's cold enough to freeze my butt off!

Why is it that one always seem to get an itch between the shoulder blades that's just low enough you can't get to it with your right arm reaching around your head and over your shoulders and just high enough that you can't scratch it with your left arm twisted behind your back and stretching as high as humanly possible?

I've had one of those itches since it turned so blasted cold. I tried to reach it with lotion on the end of a wooden spoon but I missed the spot and got it above my left shoulder blade. The skin there went "ssssssssssllllllllluuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrpppppppppp" and the lotion disappeared. Then the area next to it cried, "My turn! My turn!"

So I put some more lotion there and there and there and everywhere I put the lotion my skin went "ssssssssssllllllllluuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrpppppppppp" so now I'm out of lotion. For a little while my skin was soft and content except for this spot between my shoulder blades that is just low enough I can't reach it from the top with my right hand or from below with my left hand.
