I've been wanting a cookie since Monday, but was too lazy to bake them. Friday was Steph's last day at work so I bought cookies 'for her'. And since the cookies were our going away party, I splurged and got the more expensive Kroger bakery cookies instead of the cheap ones that were on sale for half the price.
They were worth every bite!. Those skinny chocolate chip cookies that were 18 for $2.50 couldn't have compared with the $5 a dozen thick pecan chocolate chunk cookies I selected. And I didn't get plain sugar cookies, but fancy iced sugar cookies. As one of the staff said "Those are really good, but I'm going to buzz off the sugar high from one cookie all weekend."
